At the Puerco Valley Fire District, we take great pride in delivering a quick and capable response to both medical and fire emergencies — even across our very rural, 2,500-square-mile service area. Operating from a single fire station, our dedicated team of firefighter/EMTs and paramedics stands ready 24/7 to answer the call when our community needs us most.

We understand that in rural communities like ours, emergency resources are often limited — but our commitment to fast, life-saving action is unwavering. Through constant training, efficient dispatching, and local knowledge of the region, we’re able to reach incidents quickly and provide immediate care, no matter how remote the location.

Every second matters in an emergency, and while distance can be a challenge, our team is trained to respond with urgency, professionalism, and compassion. Whether it’s a medical emergency, structure fire, wildland incident, or motor vehicle crash, the people of our district can count on us to be there — quickly, prepared, and ready to help.
